Read Theory is a website dedicated to reading and reading comprehension. After taking an initial assessment, your child will be assigned a level and from then on, will progress through a number of short texts on which they will be set 5-10 questions to answer. The activities are quick and success relies on the skills we are continually building in school: fluency, retrieval of information and inferring meaning. Teachers in school can track the progress that each child is making. Read Theory forms part of homework in Years 5 and 6.
