Slough's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) provides information online about services, support and activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25.
Parenting Special Children provide specialist support for Berkshire Families who have children and young people with Special Needs. This includes advice, support groups and courses.
GEMS is for children, young people and adults who are diagnosed with or who are on the pathway to diagnosis for Autism and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The service also supports parents and carers. GEMS offers a single point of contact where you can access information, advice and support.
GEMS provide interactive workshops, based on evidence-based programmes, are available weekdays and evenings, face to face and online. Click on the link for more information.
The Speech Link website offers parents and carers advice, information and activities for developing your children’s understanding, talking and listening.

MHST
The Mental Health Support Team is made up of Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Practitioners and therapists. They offer early intervention and prevention for mild-moderate emotional and behavioural difficulties, working with children and their parents. In February 2022 they ran a workshop for parents and carers focusing on 'Understanding and supporting children with behavioural difficulties'. You can take a look at the slides by clicking here.
