Year 6

Starting year 6 could be seen by some as quite a daunting prospect. However, although challenging, and at times quite demanding, it is a time of real fun and enjoyment. The work is admittedly harder and homework increases, especially during the run up to the dreaded 11+ and SATS. On the other hand though, year 6 have all the exciting things to look forward to such as La Fosca, (a watersports holiday in Spain) visits to Langley Grammar School and Computer Associates to sample their facilities, a Talents Assembly and the end of year production and disco. Year 6 also have the responsibility of being the editors of the school newspaper and being Mrs McNeillie's  trusty overhead projector operators!

All in all, Year 6 have a brilliant year and although we are always sad to see them go at the end of the year, we know they are ready to move on to the next exciting stage of their lives.
