The children become part of the upper school in Year 3 and consequently are encouraged to become more responsible and independent. It is a very special year for the children as they make their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. They progress to using ink pens for the first time with great anticipation.
The curriculum is filled with lots of interesting topics e.g Ancient Egyptians and Life in Kenya. The children are provided with the opportunity to participate in many fun filled activities including sewing, pottery, cookery, Computing, Art and DT.
Each year the children look forward to going on walks around the local area and visits to Holy Family Church. At the end of the school year the children are always very excited about going on their end of year trip.
